A train derailment early Sunday morning knocked out power near Deltaport but didn’t seem to cause any other issues.
According to GCT Canada, which operates Deltaport, the derailment didn’t cause any issues at their Roberts Bank facility.
The train went off the tracks about 6:15 a.m. just short of the entrance to the port area.
The train hit a power pole, disrupting power for about a dozen B.C. Hydro customers in the area. Power was expected to be restored by 7 p.m. Sunday.

Botchford: Boeser continues scoring even with extra coverage, injuries
via theprovince.comWINNIPEG — Just when you think Brock Boeser can’t score all the goals, he goes out and does something and you can’t help but wonder.
Maybe he can.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to overestimate what Boeser can do this season. He is still only months into his NHL career and right now he is the Canucks’ most important player.
He is not only their best goal scorer, he represents their best hope to survive a lengthy stretch of games in which the Canucks will be wi -
Daphne Bramham: B.C. court rules make reporting on polygamy case a tough challenge
via vancouversun.comWinston Blackmore’s constitutional challenge to Canada’s polygamy law begins Tuesday in B.C. Supreme Court in Cranbrook.
The outcome has potentially sweeping ramifications for fundamentalist Mormons and other religious groups whose faith allows for multiple wives, and for the larger debate about what limits, if any, the state can place on the guaranteed right to religious freedom.
I’d like to report on what arguments are going to be made, what remedies are being sought and what -

They’re neither pounded nor heated. They’re pulled.
Subjected to tremendous force that’s to the point of failure of steel, the plates start changing shape and curving. The moment of transformation from flat sheet to biomor -
