  Grouse Mountain was forced to close the popular Grouse Grind hiking trail because of snow and ice causing hazardous conditions. There are other trails open at Grouse, but the mountain recommends hikers wear spikes on their boots.

  Thanks to a supply crunch, he predicts the cost of gas will spike again overnight in Metro Vancouver, hitting $1.47.9 per litre.

  A woman found in medical distress at a Vancouver beach early Friday has died.
  Vancouver police say they are investigating after they discovered a woman in serious condition at 7:30 a.m., near the concession area at Spanish Banks.
  The woman was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.
  Police are trying to determine whether the death is suspicious. 
  Police say there are no further details at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the VPD.
