  Rain and wind across the B.C. south coast has halted for the time being but the rain will return Wednesday morning.
  Environment Canada ended its wind warnings late Tuesday morning for the Howe Sound, the North Shore, Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. A wind warning for the Howe Sound has also ended.

  VERNON — A man has been found safe after police feared he might have drowned when he jumped into Okanagan Lake near Vernon.
  RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says rescuers searched the north end of the lake over the weekend after officers investigating reports of a prowler saw someone jump into the water.
  It appeared the person never resurfaced.
