B.C.’s police watchdog has been called in to investigate after a man being sought by police was found dead outside his hotel room in Kelowna.
On Saturday, around 5 p.m., Kelowna RCMP were called to a hotel in the 2400-block Highway 97 North for a complaint about a disturbance in a hotel room.
Police who arrived determined that the individual inside the room was known to cops and was wanted under the Mental Health Act for an earlier incident.
