  Several homes have been badly damaged by fire in Port Coquitlam.
  Cpl. Michael McLaughlin of the Coquitlam RCMP says nine homes were evacuated when the blaze began around 5:45 on Tuesday morning.
  No injuries were reported, but McLaughlin says three homes were severely affected and several others suffered water damage and melted vinyl siding.
  He says it’s unclear where or how the fire started, but police and fire crews are investigating.

  Police are investigating after a dead body was found in Richmond early Tuesday morning.
  Around 4:30 a.m., Richmond RCMP were called to Garden City Road and Granville Avenue for the report of a dead body. Investigators on site determined the body was that of a man and that the death was suspicious and possibly targeted.
  The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called to look into the death, alongside Richmond RCMP.

  A man has been arrested following a shooting in Chilliwack last week.
  On Oct. 2, RCMP were called just before midnight to the 9400-block of Corbould Street for the report of a shooting. Investigators on scene determined the target was a parked vehicle and that the suspect had been driving in a white sedan.
