A man in his 30s and a woman in her 60s died and the B.C. Coroners Service is now investigating, spokesman Andy Watson said. No other details about their deaths were available Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at Como Lake and Pitt River Road on Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam RCMP said in a release.

The incident occurred Aug. 31.
Nanaimo RCMP say the man had just finished his round at Winchelsea View Golf Course in Lantzville when he felt a sudden sharp pain in his lower calf.
Police say a group of golfers came to his assistance and applied basic first aid.
