  THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Led by the goaltending of Devin Green and two goals by Grant Valiquette, the Lakehead Thunderwolves blanked Brock 3-0 to gain a weekend sweep over the Badgers in front of 1,951 fans at the Fort William Gardens on Saturday night.

  SUDBURY – The Thunder Bay AAA bantam Kings are off to the semifinals at the 38th annual Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury.
  Thunder Bay impressed in round robin play skating to a 3-0-1 record to finish first overall in the eight-team standings.
  They will now meet the CIH Academy from Rockland, Ont. in semifinal play Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
