  Hundreds of believers gathered in Edmonton’s inner city on Good Friday for a walk focused on faith and the fight for a more just society.
  Walkers sang hymns and listened to talks at the 39th annual Way of the Cross, which followed a circuitous, two-kilometres route through the city’s Boyle Street and McCauley neighbourhoods.

  FORT MCMURRAY — The company formerly known as Nexen Energy has been fined $450,000 after pleading guilty to charges in the deaths of two oilsands workers in northern Alberta.
  The two men died from an explosion at the Long Lake facility near Anzac on Jan. 15, 2016.
