    A record number of Albertans flocked to the polls in five days of advance voting, amounting to more than 25 per cent of eligible voters.
    “I think we’re all very excited over here by how big of a turnout it was,” said Pamela Renwick, director of operations and communications with Elections Alberta. “It’s pretty amazing.”
    The early turnout of about 696,000 shattered the 2015 election total of 235,000 — around 10 per cent of eligible electors.

    Craig Hamaliuk told his friends at a dinner last week that the orphanage they had supported in the village of Zumbahua, Ecuador was out of food money.
