  One person is dead after a three-vehicle collision on an icy highway near Hinton.
  The crash happened on Highway 40 north of Rock Lake just before 8:17 p.m. Tuesday night, Hinton RCMP said in a release. Conditions were foggy, with freezing rain and ice on the roadway, police said.

  The program review began in June 2016, and Education Minister David Eggen wants to approve the final curriculum by the end of the year.

  Four aging schools in the Britannia-Youngstown, Mayfield and Canora neighbourhoods will eventually be combined into two new buildings, the Edmonton public school board decided Tuesday.

  An autopsy has determined a 74-year-old man was the victim of a homicide after two people were found dead in a Stony Plain area home, RCMP said.
  A 70-year-old woman was also found dead inside the home after police and emergency crews responded to a Sept. 24 emergency call about a “severely injured female,” said Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Enoch RCMP in a Tuesday news release.
