    A private plane with two people on board that went missing Friday took off from Parkland Airport southeast of Spruce Grove, says the airport manager.
    “I’m very concerned for the pilot,” said Robert Gilgen on Sunday. “It’s very unfortunate.”

    A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the in the death of a man found on the side of a Fort McMurray road in June.
    Bernard Corrigan was arrested on Sept. 14 and is being held in custody, Wood Buffalo RCMP said in a Sunday news release.
    The body of John Bradley Healey, 36, was found on an access road in Fort McMurray between Grayling Crescent and Abasand Drive around 5:40 a.m. on June 13.
