  Two women and one man have been arrested following a drug trafficking investigation by St. Albert RCMP.
  A search by police at an address in the Forest Lawn neighbourhood found meth, opioid-based drugs, cannabis, psilocybin and a large amount of Canadian money, according to a Wednesday morning news release.

  New biomarkers found in maternal blood may help doctors prevent stillbirth, shows new research at the University of Alberta.

  The NDP and UCP are in a close race for party contributions ahead of the 2019 election, with the UCP pulling ahead by about $100,000 so far this year.
  The NDP reported nearly $1.19 million in party contributions between Jan. 1 and June 30, according to the latest report from Elections Alberta.
