This is going to sound strange, but if anything, the stormy weather and safety delays made Friday at Interstellar Rodeo better, as the good-natured, super-chill music festival repeatedly showed off its true character.
From the get-go, year seven kicked off with the early bird crowd raising libations and coming together up front under the giant Heritage Amphitheatre tent in Hawrelak Park, creating an anticipatory excitement and early shared cheers as Jesse Jams and the Flams took the stage in the -

Saturday's letters: Replace Greyhound service with ride-sharing
Re. “PM looking for Greyhound alternatives,” July 18
The end of Greyhound’s service in Western Canada signals the end of safe, convenient travel for many. The solution to this problem isn’t costly government-subsidized buses. The solution is a well-screened, secure and accountable ride-sharing program such as Europe’s BlaBlaCar.
BlaBlaCar matches people offering space in their vehicles with people looking for a ride. Searches link travellers based on towns at the be -

Instead of teaching Canadian history, he writes, or speaking of what it means to be “Albertan,” it talks about “First Nations, Metis, Inuit, francophone and diverse group -
