    Firefighters were working to extinguish an out-of-control wildfire that was blazing 15 km southeast of Hinton on Wednesday evening.
    The estimated 350-hectare fire was moving east as 25 firefighters in the Edson Forest worked with heavy equipment and helicopters to contain the fire, according to a 7:45 p.m. news release from the Alberta government.

    A man received serious injuries when a train hit a truck outside Morinville Wednesday afternoon, RCMP said in a news release.
