    The death of a man found in a residence in Stettler on Friday is suspicious, RCMP said on Saturday.
    Stettler RCMP and the RCMP Major Crimes unit are investigating the death of the man who has yet to be positively identified.
    The victim’s truck is missing and RCMP are asking for anyone who has seen a white 2008 Ford F-150 Quad Cab with the Alberta licence plate of #BRM 9136 to call 911 immediately and to not approach the vehicle.

    A man is dead after an early morning shooting in northeast Edmonton, according to city police.

  • Edmonton hit hard by losses in tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash

    With many of the players on the Humboldt Broncos hailing from Edmonton and surrounding towns and cities, the community is grappling with the loss of young men and injuries of others. The team was headed to a game in Nipawin, Sask. when a truck collided with the team’s bus. RCMP have confirmed 15 people are dead.
    Seven of the team’s players are from the Edmonton or northern Alberta region. Head coach Darcy Haugan, who was confirmed to be killed in the crash, was from Peace River.

    Stephen Wack, a 21-year-old defenceman from St. Albert killed in the Friday Humboldt Broncos bus crash, is being remembered for his down-to-earth nature, loyalty and bright smile.
