  One person has been left with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash at the intersection of 132 Avenue and 97 Street.
  Southbound 97 Street between 135 Avenue and 130 Avenue remains closed as of just before 10 a.m.
  The two-vehicle collision happened around 1 a.m.
  Police are investigating the scene.

  Edmonton city planners have approved a permit for a man to build a three-storey dream house in Mill Creek Ravine Park, sandwiched between the bike path and the creek.

  Alberta Health Services has decided to pare down its infrastructure demands, handing the province a shorter list that emphasizes a handful of smaller, lower-cost projects.

  Friends and family are identifying the third victim of carbon monoxide poisoning in Conklin as Cade Lavallee, a 29-year-old father.

  Thursday, the City of Calgary cancelled a private swim event at Calgary’s Southland Leisure Centre to be hosted by Calgary Nude Recreation. The city didn’t suspend the event because the swimmers were going to be naked.
