  When two men were arguing in the Churchill LRT station in Edmonton, a punch was thrown and a man fell unconscious onto the tracks on April 7, 2017.

  Now, Chile and Tripp are 9 and 7. And while they might fight a little bit more, and while their age difference might seem a little more pronounced, they’re still best friends.   The NDP is launching a $40-million fund to help Alberta coal workers. The Coal Workforce Transition Fund will be active Jan. 1, 2018.

  One woman is dead and two men are clinging to life in hospital after a two-vehicle collision in northeast Edmonton Saturday morning. 
  Edmonton police responded to the crash at 17 Street NE and Manning Drive at around 6:15 a.m.

  The premier dismisses a comment because of the gender of the speaker, with the dismissive term mansplaining.
  This dismissal is wrong, in either direction. I am old enough to remember the Alberta legislature when there was one female MLA: the patronizing condescension was dismissive, and appalling.

  Two people are dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 633 near Range Road 31 that happened around 6:22 p.m. on Friday, northwest of Stony Plain near Alberta Beach.

  A woman who admitted to a fatal stabbing she claims to not remember was handed a five-and-a-half year prison sentence for manslaughter on Friday.
