    A Go-kart collision last week drew a raft of charges against its operator, Logan MacGillivray, 20. Sault Ste.     City police have charged a 43-year-old man in connection with an altercation at a Queen Street business that resulted in a serious injury to a security officer.  Police say 911 operators received reports of an altercation in the 600 block of Queen Street at about 1 a.m. At that time, the accused was identified.

  • Fire services responds to carbon monoxide alarm

    A multi-residential home in the 600 block of Wellington Street East was evacuated after carbon monoxide was found in multiple units on Jan. 3.
      Fire services said residents were evacuated, and EMS and Enbridge Gas were called to the scene.  The cause of the carbon monoxide was determined to be from snow blocking the exterior vents of the building.
      One resident was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. There were no other injuries reported.
