• ‘Severe’ weather in southern Ontario grounds Thessalon emergency department

    The locum slated to cover Thessalon’s emergency department Saturday cannot come north due to “severe” winter weather conditions in southern Ontario, North Shore Health Network reported late Friday afternoon.
      The site, east of Sault Ste. Marie, will be shuttered from 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.
