• New Prince fire chief, deputy chief 'used to managing people’

    On July 1, the Prince Township Volunteer Fire Department will have a new fire chief and deputy chief.
      At council’s regular January meeting, Fire Chief Steve Hemsworth said that Ontario Regulation 343/33 sets July 1 as the deadline for members of municipal and territorial fire departments to obtain their certification as firefighters.
