  Production shined bright at a Wawa-area gold mine during the third quarter.Wesdome’s Eagle River site produced 34,296 ounces between July and September, a release says.That’s up from 23,688 ounces during the same three-month span in 2024.   An all-terrain vehicle operator allegedly tried to evade police in Thessalon on Friday. He was stopped at Highway 17 and Highway 129, Ontario Provincial Police say.
