Man charged in domestic incident

It’s alleged that on Jan. 5 at around 8:30 p.m., the man and his wife began arguing and the argument escalated. The woman was punched and hit with household items.
It’s further alleged the man damaged a wall and threw furniture around the residence.
The accused was taken into custody and charged with assault, assault with a weapon and mischief. He is to appear in court at a later date. -
