Sault jail back on the selling block by Ontario government
via saultstar.comThe Sault Ste. Marie’s empty jail is one of 243 Ontario government surplus properties on the selling block.
The two-acre triangular-shaped property is listed for just $99,000, according to Infrastructure Ontario’s website.
Earlier this week the Ontario government announced its intention to cut red tape and sell off provincially owned surplus properties.
The properties range from old schools and hospitals to police stations and vacant property.
