Ernest McKinnon’s sexual assault of a woman “reduced the complainant to less than human status,” an Ontario Superior Court Justice declared during his sentending.
McKinnon, 61, will be jailed for four years for his actions on Feb. 4, 2016 when consensual sex “developed into non-consensual sexual activity,” said Justice Edward Gareau on Friday morning.

via saultstar.comThe Algoma District School Board is taking extra precaution today after a threat was made from one student to another late Thursday night.
The police investigation reveals the threat between the two students was unrelated to the school.
However, in the abundance of caution, the ADSB has sent out a message to parents suggesting there was “a threat to the school” and precautionary measures mean all doors except the main entrance to the high school will be locked.
