    An idea to have the Norgoma moved to Conservation Authority property adjacent to the former hospitals has been sunk.
    The Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority board received a report Tuesday that confirmed that the licence of occupation permit the authority has with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry does not permit the Norgoma to be stored on it.
    In addition, only a portion of the boat slip located behind the former hospitals is owned by the conservation authority.
