Robbery charge laid

Residents awoke to a fresh blanket of fluffy white snow Tuesday morning and the end is not in sight, said Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Cheng.
“The temperature in your area is going to stay quite cold so there will be no melting of sorts,” Cheng said from his Toronto office.

Chamber moves annual trade shows to Station Mall
Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce has moved its annual series of trade shows to Station Mall.
Rory Ring, the chamber’s CEO, says in a media release the move benefits exhibitors and visitors.
“Our exhibitors will get more one-on-one with potential clients and customers thanks to increased traffic. It will also reduce costs for exhibitors and it means that we will no longer need to charge an admission. It’s a WIN-WIN-WIN.”
