    Sault Ste. Marie’s Member of Parliament Terry Sheehan presented the Veterans Commemorative Monument Committee with a cheque for $25,000 from the Veterans Affairs Commemorative Partnership Program.
    He made the presentation last week on behalf of Seamus O’Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs.
    VCM Committee chairman Clyde Healey told Sault This Week this contribution is the largest single funding amount the group has received to date.
