  Patrick Whiddon is almost to the half-way point. 
He’s criss-crossing Canada on his bicycle for a year to raise awareness on homelessness.
  And in doing so, the pediatric nurse has found himself homeless as well.
  It’s his second Journey Towards Heroes and Homes, he calls his empathy tour.

  A large part of the south-western portion of Ward 5 is zoned heavy industrial. The area includes industries such as Algoma Steel, Arauco Flakeboard and the Port of Algoma.
