Romano wants joint strategy to rid tariffs
via saultstar.comSault MPP Ross Romano said he wants to meet with other elected counterparts to develop a strategy to help overturn the steel tariffs imposed by the U.S. administration earlier this summer.
Romano said he wants to develop the strategy with the mayor and MP Terry Sheehan.
“We can’t accept this and we won’t accept this. I know the premier believes this as well and we’re going to fight for the works and families in our city,” Romano said in a press release.

PUC still working to restore power

PUC crews are continuing to work on the issue and power is expected to be restored by the end of the day.
The power outage was caused as a result of significant storm damage to PUC infrastructure.
