At the tail end of July, the provincial government announced it would slash the planned increase to the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) in half.
ODSP recipients were to set to receive a three per cent increase to their financial support starting this fall. This would have added up to approximately $35 more per month, or $420 per year.
After the Progressive Conservative’s cut, those on ODSP will lose approximately $17.50 each month.
