PUC heedful of LED lights concerns
In an effort to save energy and reduce costs, the City of Sault Ste. Marie in 2015 had PUC convert all of the city’s 9,000 streetlights to LED fixtures.
That conversion was completed in 2017, but a local nonprofit argues the change may not have been the best route to take.
