Pedestrian dies after mobility scooter collides with vehicle in Avalon
A 65-year-old man has died following a collision between his mobility scooter and a vehicle.
According to a police news release, the man had been travelling in his mobility scooter when it collided with another vehicle, causing fatal injuries.
Saskatoon Police remain at the scene of the collision which occurred in the area of Cascade Street and Albert Avenue.

A 28-year-old man is in police custody and facing numerous charges after fleeing bike patrol officers on a bicycle.

Saskatoon Police are currently on scene of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Cascade Street and Albert Avenue.
Police have cordoned off the area and are asking that motorists and pedestrians avoid the area while officers investigate the collision.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call police at 306-975-8300. -
