Saskatoon police arrested two teenaged boys in connection to an attempted street robbery on Thursday night.
Police were called to the 200 block of 23rd Street East at 11:20 p.m. after they received a report about an attempted robbery.
In a media release, police say a 41-year-old man told officers he was confronted by three teen boys who demanded his property and he believed one had a knife and the man fled.
When officers arrived at the scene, they saw three teens and two were taken into custody. -

Neighbour alerts man to fire in his house
A home’s lone occupant was alerted to a fire in his home by a neighbour “banging on the door,” according to the Saskatoon fire department.
The man got out of the house and no one was injured in the early morning house fire on Wollaston Terrace.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 4:45 a.m. on Friday and had the fire under control in 20 minutes. The fire was out within an hour.
Heat from the blaze caused the exterior siding of a neighbouring house to melt.

Police looking for man following overnight stabbing
A man was treated in hospital for non life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed during an altercation on Thursday night.
Police are investigating the incident, which occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Idylwyld Drive North. Officers went out to the scene after receiving a report about a stabbing.
