Police lay charges in voyeurism incidents near university
Saskatoon police have charged a 30-year-old man in connection with a series of suspected voyeurism incidents reported near the University of Saskatchewan since late January.
The man is charged with voyeurism, prowling at night and breach of probation.
Police continue to investigate other similar reports from the Cumberland Avenue and College Drive area.
In a previous media release, police said the incidents involved complainants finding footprints in the snow leading up to the windows of homes. -

Persephone Theatre announced their season lineup for 2019/2020 at a special event at the BackStage Stage in the theatre on Monday afternoon. Artistic director Del Surjik said ahead of the event that next year’s season had an unofficial theme of hearing the “less heard voices” in our society.

Friendship flourishes following donation of Kidney from stranger
Deb Leisle and Bonnie Cockrumwere having coffee when Bonnie put her kidney on the table.
The kidney in question was in a shoebox, wrapped in a bow. The words “Coming soon to an OR theatre near you” were written on the lid.
“It was a Christmas ornament she baked for my tree,” Leisle recalled. “But she burnt it!”
Luckily, the actual kidney she received was in much better shape.
