Motorcyclist reached 260 km/h while trying to evade police on highway: RCMP
A 20-year-old man from the Saskatchewan community of Swanson is accused of reaching speeds of 260 kilometres on his motorcycle while attempting to evade police.
According to police, Warman RCMP received a complaint from a highway patrol officer on Tuesday around noon about a sport bike passing him at a speed of approximately 160 km/h on Highway 45 south of Delisle. RCMP said the patrol officer attempted to pull the driver over but the motorcyclist continued travelling north on the highway.
