11 charged after woman beaten, held for several hours
Eleven people, including two youths, face charges in connection with an allegation that a woman was beaten and held against her will for several hours at a Sturgeon Lake home last weekend.
The woman escaped from the house through a window and told RCMP several people in the home had assaulted her and threatened her while holding her against her will overnight, RCMP said in a news release.
