Review: Though imperfect, Boeing Boeing takes comedy to new heights
It might have been a delayed takeoff for the comedy in Persephone Theatre’s Boeing Boeing on Friday night, but the show swooped in for a smooth landing at the end — with only a bit of turbulence in the middle.
Boeing Boeing is a farce that tracks the increasingly frantic love life of Bernard, who is in a relationship with three different air hostesses at the same time. The ploy works because — as Bernard (played by Gaelan Beatty) tells the audience repeatedly — it’s -
