Woman suffers serious injuries after being confined, assaulted: Saskatoon police
A 23-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after what police believe was an assault and unlawful confinement.
Officers were called Saturday around 12 a.m. to a back alley in the 300 block of Avenue R South, after a caller reported seeing someone injured and laying on the ground while three people ran from the scene. According to police in a news release, when officers arrived they found the woman suffering from multiple injuries.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Search Warrant Executed - Unlicensed Cannabis Outlet - 100 block 2nd Avenue South
Members of the Saskatoon Police Vice Unit with assistance from the Saskatoon Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) executed a third search warrant and seized numerous items at an unlicensed cannabis outlet last week. The outlet in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue South, continues to sell illicit and unregulated cannabis and cannabis-related products despite not having a license to do so, unlike several other cannabis businesses which received licenses through regulated channels.
