• Most of Saskatchewan under an extreme cold warning

  Environment Canada issued an extreme cold warning for most of Saskatchewan on Sunday.
  With the exception of the southwestern corner of the province, periods of extreme wind chills between -40 C to -45 C are expected in central and southeastern Saskatchewan. Environment Canada says temperatures may moderate in the afternoons, but a warming trend is not expected until Wednesday.
  In northern Saskatchewan, periods of extreme wind chills as low as -45 C to -50 C are expected into Monday.
