When Johnny Dyck Klassen stomped on his father’s head and slashed his neck during an argument in their Kerrobert apartment suite, he knew it was legally wrong.
He told an investigator he washed the blood off before stealing a semi from a nearby farm. He said he drove it into a slough because he wanted to hide from police.

A 29-year-old man faces numerous charges after allegedly racing away from Saskatoon police Thursday night. Police spotted a stolen vehicle on Idylwyld Drive and 33rd Street just before 11 p.m. CST. Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but it raced off.
