Battlefords RCMP cautioning businesses about fake currency

Several complaints from businesses about the funny money, counterfeit $50 and $100 bills, have been reported to RCMP with people reportedly trying to use the cash to purchase “small inexpensive items with large denomination currency.”
Police say the bills were of “poor quality” and the business involved noticed they were fake before the transaction was complete.
