Saskatoon Police continue to investigate a collision which occurred early this morning, involving a Medavie Health Services ambulance and a GMC Sierra truck.At approximately 2:25 a.m., October 26, 2018, Police were called to the collision at the intersection of Idylwyld Drive North and Marquis Drive. Paramedics OK after ambulance hit by truck moving at highway speeds
Two paramedics and a paramedic student have been released from hospital after the ambulance they were in was rear-ended by a truck in the wee hours of Friday morning.
The 23-year-old male driver of the truck was also transported to hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

U of S Huskies host men's soccer playoff game under the lights for first time
Home-field advantage has turned into home-turf advantage in Canada West playoffs for the University of Saskatchewan men’s soccer squad.
While the Huskies have traditionally played their games on the Field 7 grass behind Griffiths Stadium in Nutrien Park, they have recently moved their games to the artificial turf of Griffiths Stadium.

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe calls Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s newly imposed carbon tax a “sham.” If sham means something that is not what it purports to be or is “a spurious imitation, fraud or hoax” it is an apt description.
