Esterhazy RCMP say they discovered one person dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash near Bangor in southeast Saskatchewan.
Officers responded Monday afternoon to a report of a vehicle in the bush on a rural property, where they located an SUV with significant damage and a lone person who had died, RCMP said in a release.

It was a shock to hear the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market is in the precarious position of losing its tenancy at the market site.
One should look back and see the history that brought the Saskatoon Farmers Market to fruition.
The purpose of the Farmers’ Market was always to create strong links between rural producers and urban consumers. This link has been a real benefit to both sides in supplying locally grown good food products.

Community Safety Officers expected to deter crime in Pelican Narrows
Arielle Merasty loves being the eyes and ears of her community.
The 27-year-old has spent the last year working as a peacekeeper in her home of Pelican Narrows, a community located about 400 kilometres northeast of Prince Albert within the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation.

Prince Albert fisher hauls in record-breaking catch
Kyle Borysiuk didn’t realize he was making history when he reeled in an enormous Lake Trout last spring.

Saskatoon city council unanimously approved a request to establish a brew pub by Prairie Sun Brewery on the prime corner where the historic Farnam Block building stood for 103 years.
