Saskatoon Blades pull off OT win over Spokane Chiefs
Kirby Dach scored 37 seconds into overtime to give the host Saskatoon Blades a 3-2 win Friday night over the Spokane Chiefs.
Dach had a pair of goals and an assist for the Blades, who improved their Western Hockey League record to 8-3-1-0.
Spokane moves to 6-2-1-2.
Eric Florchuk had the other goal for Saskatoon, which got out-shot 43-33.
Nolan Maier made 41 saves for the win.
Luke Toporowski and Ty Smith replied for Spokane, which went 2-for-5 on the power play.
