City police say no injuries were reported after a man robbed a convenience store with a rifle on Monday.

An RCMP officer suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop near North Battleford.
On Monday around 8:40 a.m., the RCMP member stopped a 2018 Ford F350 with an Alberta license plate along Highway 40 near the village of Richard, approximately 30 kilometres east of North Battleford. At one point on Tuesday, Coun. Sarina Gersher left the second day of last week’s city council meeting/endurance test just as Coun. Troy Davies returned.

Here's what you need to know about Saskatoon's two new bridges
In a first for Saskatoon, the city will welcome two new additions to help bolster the Bridge City nickname on Tuesday.
The Chief Mistawasis Bridge and the rebuilt Traffic Bridge will be celebrated in separate ceremonies. The Chief Mistawasis Bridge will open to traffic later on Tuesday and the Traffic Bridge opens to vehicles on Wednesday.
The bridges were built by the Graham Commuter Partners consortium and are coming in on time and on budget.
