Saskatoon set to update approach to selling water to region
The last time the City of Saskatoon updated the agreement to sell its water to nearby communities, Pierre Trudeau was prime minister and Ronald Reagan was U.S. president.

The federal government is forging ahead with its plan to study a complete ban on handguns — but don’t expect Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe to line up behind Ottawa’s latest gun control initiative.
“We do not endorse the banning of firearms here in the province,” Moe told reporters Wednesday afternoon, after emerging from a 45-minute meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during which gun control did not come up.

Ten people were taken to hospital after a bus transporting pipeline workers collided with a semi at an intersection on the northwest edge of Kerrobert.
According to RCMP, there were 16 workers on the bus when the collision took place Friday around 4 p.m. O.J. Pipelines, a pipeline contractor in operation since 1977, confirmed in an email that the bus was carrying its employees.
