The Saskatoon Police Service has dismissed Constable Jarett Gelowitz from the Service. The RCMP are not soldiers, nor are they airmen, nor are they sailors. They wear bulletproof vests in their own country, they make good money, they go to work and come home when their shift is over.
Military people on the other hand have to live in appalling conditions at times. I personally have shared my quarters with rats and mice for months at a time, living with smells that would make the faint at heart sick to their stomach. We didn’t have bulletproof vests, either.

'Slower than anybody suspected': Government injects $180K into outfitter group as membership uptake lags
The provincial government has now committed more than half a million dollars to a new hunting and fishing outfitters’ group despite previous expectations that its membership dues would cover the majority of its costs.

Broncos hit, skate and score on a Sunday night at the arena
HUMBOLDT — Elgar Petersen Arena was a cauldron of shoves, feisty displays, a grin here and there, and enough goals to keep things interesting.

RCMP officer suspended, charged with assault
