On August 10th, 2018 at approximately 10:40 pm Saskatoon Police Service Patrol members along with Medavie Health Servicesresponded to an injured male in an apartment block in the 200 Block 5th Avenue North.Upon arrival an injured male was located in the hallway. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning Saskatoon residents about West Nile virus after mosquitoes caught in two traps within city limits were confirmed to be infected with the virus.

No one injured in kitchen fire at The Lighthouse; fire accidental in nature
The Saskatoon Fire Department said no one was injured as a result of a kitchen fire at The Lighthouse on Thursday afternoon.
The fire department received a report about the fire at 2:45 p.m. and when crews got to the scene, they found that several people were already outside. They also found that the fire in the kitchen was extinguished.

Fire crews extract one person involved in multi-vehicle accident
The Saskatoon Fire Department extracted a man involved in a six-vehicle accident on Idylwyld Drive Friday morning.
In a media release, the fire department said it received multiple reports about a multi-vehicle accident with a confirmed entrapment on Idylwyld Drive North near 51st Street.
At the scene, firefighters discovered there were five vehicles that had been involved, with one man in need of extraction.

Traffic restrictions have been lifted at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that occurred earlier this morning.
