RCMP have identified a body found in the South Saskatchewan River as 57-year-old Robert Lehto. -
Body of missing man found in search of South Saskatchewan River
Saskatoon RCMP have recovered the body of Robert Harry Lehto who went missing in the Paradise Beach area last weekend.
Lehto, 57, was last seen at Paradise Beach with his friends on July 29, near a sandbar in the river. Investigation and items found nearby led RCMP officers to the area, according to an RCMP news release.
The area around Paradise Beach was closed off while police investigated. RCMP say an investigation into the death is ongoing with assistance from the Coroner’s Office.
