Garbage numbers expensive, not complex
In his June 4 article, Phil Tank lamented the garbage debate is buried in complex numbers. Buried I can agree with, but the numbers are hardly complex.
The landfill shows an annual deficit of $1 million. The primary purpose of creating a waste utility is to extract an additional $1 million from Saskatoon residents to address this apparent shortfall. No matter the size of your garbage cart, you can count on paying a lot more.

Camp creates a community for children with heart problems
Melina Brandt has been living with a heart condition all her life.
She was born with a double inlet left ventricle, a congenital heart defect; her left ventricle doesn’t work. She has had three heart surgeries, one at four weeks old, another at four months old, and another at three years old.
